Sheet 1 of the Wright brothers' patent for their flying machine, filed in March 1903 and granted on 22 May 1906: the biplane seen from the front, with the wing-warping cables that let a pilot keep it level. The inventors, as the sheet names them: O. & W. Wright. Printed big on the back, and as a poster.
