The heading card from a pilot's panel, embroidered: every ten degrees marked, north in orange, the numbers read the way a pilot reads them (3 is 030°), and a small aircraft at the centre.
The stitch
Heavy ring-spun cotton, 207 g/m², dyed after sewing, so it comes soft and a little lived-in. Embroidered at the centre of the chest in navy and instrument-orange thread.

Care
Wash cold, inside out. No bleach. Hang to dry. Iron around the embroidery, never on it.
